Academic "K" Award, 2021 Recipients
The Academic "K" Award was developed by the Student Council. The award recognizes academic achievement. Recipients are presented a seven inch white letter "K" on a red base. It is given to Juniors and Seniors who have earned a 10.00 grade point average by the end of the fifth full semester of enrollment (grades 9-12) and who have participated in academic competition or special academic service work during their high school career. The accumulated grade point average is based on FINAL semester grades (all grades count). A recipient must earn a minimum of nine (9) credits from Kokomo High School to be eligible. Also, enrollment in both sessions of summer school for two (2) consecutive years shall count as one (1) full semester of enrollment provided two (2) full credits are earned each summer school session attended.
We didn’t have any Academic "K" Award recipients this year due to Covid and not being in school. |
