Whether it’s the arts, athletics, or student groups, getting involved is a big part of the high school experience. Stepping beyond the classroom experience gives students a place to lean into what they already enjoy, explore something new, and find their community.

At KHS, we believe in providing a supportive space where students can discover their interests, build leadership and practical life skills, and truly take ownership of their high school journey.

Both research and experience show that students who engage in extracurricular activities consistently perform better in the classroom, connect more easily with their peers, and get far more out of their time in school. All club activities, projects, and fundraisers must receive administrative approval before moving forward. While a few groups require tryouts or specific course prerequisites, most organizations are open to any interested student.
