Winter Break dates

It's the holiday season and Santa Claus is coming to town. Luckily for us, he is bringing a much needed two week break. It might be cold, snowy, icy and dark, but there are still plenty of things to do over Christmas break to both have fun and reset your mind before the start of second semester.

Firstly is attending the Frozen Sandlot. This is a great way to either watch people slip and fall or get on the ice to slip and fall yourself. Inviting friends and family to have a fun night of ice skating and drinking hot chocolate is always memorable. The Sandlot schedule is available on their website, and varies depending on date and time.

Another thing to participate in locally is visiting Christmas at the Seiberling. There are many rooms festively decorated by clubs and businesses, one of which even being the KHS National Honor Society. Christmas at the Seiberling ticket prices and hours are located on their website.

If you are an indoor person who is not interested in getting out, there are many things to do at home with family and friends. Some holiday favorites include hosting a Secret Santa, baking holiday cookies, watching your favorite holiday movies and enjoying Christmas music while wrapping presents or making a Christmas DIY.

However you spend the two weeks away from KHS, enjoy your holiday vacation and get some rest!
