The International Baccalaureate Career Programme junior class is partnering with the KHS counselors to host a Hygiene Drive. Donations are being accepted during 1st period classes now through Friday, Feb. 13. The class with the most donations will win a donut party.
The class is sponsoring the drive as part of their service learning requirement for the IBCP. The products collected will help supply the KHS bathrooms with needed hygiene items.
"Travel-size items are possibly the best options to provide in our bathroom bins," said class member Brayley Rayl.
Each 1st period teacher has a collection box in their rooms for donations. Students can also donate in the counseling office, but those donations will not count towards their 1st period total.
"As long as your teacher is present in the classroom for you to drop off items, anytime would be fine to donate," Rayl said. "If your teacher isn’t present please DO NOT donate until they are."
The Hygiene Drive wraps up on Friday, Feb. 13, so get donations turned in before then. See any IBCP junior or Madisun Roberts in the counseling office for more information.
