Braedyn Booker is the 2026 senior class president. He has been in the student council since 6th grade. He says that it's incredibly rewarding to be elected as senior class president because he dedicated a lot of time and effort to his campaign video, so seeing everything come together and getting elected was truly amazing. 

“I try to lead by example, always giving my best, applying myself wherever I can, and using my strengths to make a difference,” Booker said. 

He loves to create the graphics for the Student Council events, because it's a great way to express his creativity and practice marketing skills while still in high school. His big plans for this year is to create more events for the Student Council and make sure the senior class doesn’t just have a good year, but an unforgettable one. 

“My main goal is to ensure everyone feels happy and heard. I know there have been concerns students want addressed, and I want to be the voice that gets things moving in a positive direction for our class,” he said.

At this point, Booker is exploring several colleges, including NYU, USC, Indiana University Bloomington and Notre Dame. He hopes to double major in film and marketing so he can create innovative campaigns for movies in the future.

But while he’s still at KHS, Booker hopes to be someone everyone can respect.

“Being a role model for younger students is important because it gives them someone to look up to and helps set a positive example.”
