Treat the Halls event flyer

Halloween is right around the corner, and with that we can expect some fun events happening at KHS. The Environmental Club will host their annual Haunted Trail Friday night. The Haunted Trail features the Little Goblin hours from 4:30pm-6:30pm which is a non-scary, peaceful trail. From 7pm-9pm is the Trail of Fears which includes more scary and haunting features. The Haunted Trail will be located in the woods west of the school near the soccer fields.

The KHS Student Council will also be hosting their annual Treat the Halls event on Friday. This will include themed Halloween rooms and offers indoor trick-or-treating for local elementary students. Some of the themes include Coraline, Nightmare Before Christmas, Alice in Wonderland and many more.

“This is gearing up to be one of our largest years yet with 17 rooms already,” said Student Council sponsor Katlynn Craig.

Attendees are encouraged to bring canned foods to donate at the event. Trick-or-treaters can also vote on the best decorated pumpkin while gathering their sweets.

So whether you’re looking for spookier fun or friendlier haunts, KHS has something for everyone this Halloween.
